I recently went on a hike to Silver Falls near Salem, OR. I went with a group of hikers that a friend organizes. We were 16 in number. Silver Falls has to be one of my favorite hikes. In 5 miles of hiking, there are 10 waterfalls for viewing. There are a couple of waterfalls that you actually walk behind.
The weather was a little brisk for April, but the sun was shining. There were times that I wanted to remove my jacket, but left it on. When we walked behind the last waterfall, I got soaked, so glad that I left my jacket on!
