New Beginnings

Today starts a new chapter in my life. I am nervous, yet excited. Yesterday, I got laid off from my job of 12 years. I can't say that I'm sad. I haven't enjoyed that job in maybe years. But, it was a decent salary with good benefits. I want to take some time off to reflect and decide what I want to do that is a good fit for me.

I met a group of people for coffee this morning at the Coffee Plant. I then took my dog for a walk along Willamette River. I have a strong belief that things will work out for the best.
